Basketball Recap: Skyline Triumphs

There's no place like home for Skyline, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They slipped by the Bonneville Bees 46-45 on Thursday. This was a revenge game for the Grizzlies: when they faced off against the Bees back in December of 2025, they had to take a 57-54 defeat.

Skyline's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sofia Dennert led the charge by shooting 83% from the field to rack up 10 points. Another player making a difference was Natalya Garcia, who posted eight points.

Skyline smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in February of 2025.

With the win, Skyline broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-10. As for Bonneville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season.

Skyline has already played their next game, a 55-50 victory against Idaho Falls on the 21st. As for Bonneville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 57-32 loss against Madison on the 17th.
