Softball Recap: Port Allen Takes a Loss

Port Allen lost against Dunham back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Pelicans lost 13-3 to the Tigers. The Pelicans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Port Allen saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Saizon, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Jerrica Cooper was another, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Port Allen's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Dunham, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Port Allen will face off against Rapides at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Dunham, they will square off against Slaughter Community Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
