Christian Learning Center extends road winning streak to seven

Recap: Christian Learning Center Mustangs vs. Clinton Christian Academy Patriots

The Christian Learning Center Mustangs put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Clinton Christian Academy by a score of 45-35. Given Christian Learning Center's advantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 62nd in Kansas, while Clinton Christian Academy is ranked 249th in Missouri), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Leading Christian Learning Center to victory were Callie Trezona and Rylie Allen. Trezona scored 15 points along with nine rebounds and two steals, while Allen scored 13 points along with five rebounds and five blocks. Allen is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Holly Cain, who scored nine points along with five steals.

Christian Learning Center pushed their record up to 10-0 with that victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Clinton Christian Academy, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Christian Learning Center will take on Center Place at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Center Place is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak. As for Clinton Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Overland Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Overland Christian is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
