Thomas Worthington had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the New Albany Eagles on Friday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The CARDINALS haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Thomas Worthington's victory bumped their record up to 22-4. As for New Albany, they moved to 17-9 with that defeat, which also ended their eight-game winning streak.

Coming up, Thomas Worthington will square off against St. Ignatius at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something the CARDINALS surely won't give up without a fight. New Albany does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
