Volleyball Recap: Bellflower Comes Up Short

Bellflower lost against Cerritos back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Buccaneers lost 3-0 to the Dons.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-14, 25-9.

Bellflower's offense was headlined by Pearl Madrigal and Natasha DeVaul, who picked up two kills apiece. They got some help from Valerie Rivas and her three assists.

Bellflower's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Cerritos, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bellflower will face off against North at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Cerritos, they will challenge Katella at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
