Soccer Game Preview: Marlboro County vs. Scotland

The Marlboro County Bulldogs will face off against the Scotland Fighting Scots at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Scotland took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Marlboro County, who comes in off a win.

Marlboro County took a four-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Loris, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bulldogs won by a goal and slipped past the Lions 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Marlboro County.

Meanwhile, Scotland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 13-0 to Pinecrest. While losing is never fun, Scotland can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 420th, while Pinecrest are ranked 57th).

Marlboro County's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Scotland, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-10.
