Basketball Recap: Queen Creek Comes Up Short

Queen Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 56-54 heartbreaker at the hands of the Gilbert Tigers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Bulldogs have suffered since November 24, 2023.

Queen Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Gilbert, their win bumped their record up to 9-12.

Coming up, Queen Creek is taking a road trip to face off against Williams Field at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gilbert, they will face off against Higley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Higley's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine contests.
