Tyler Legacy extended their winning streak to eight games thanks to a huge performance from Ja'Corian Oes. The Tyler Legacy Raiders came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 59-55 W against the Rockwall-Heath Hawks thanks in part to Oes, who dropped a double-double with 28 points and 13 boards. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 19 points.

Rockwall-Heath lost on Friday despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Hadrian Reitsma, who went 6 for 10 en route to 13 points. Another player making a difference was Christian Cranford, who posted 16 points and five rebounds.

Tyler Legacy's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-12. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points over those games. As for Rockwall-Heath, their loss dropped their record down to 23-9.

Tyler Legacy has already played their next match (against North Forney), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Rockwall-Heath will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Wylie at 7:00 p.m. on February 17th. Wylie knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Rockwall-Heath likes a good challenge.
