Basketball Game Preview: Skyline Raiders vs. Hillcrest Panthers + How To Watch

The Skyline Raiders are taking a road trip to square off against the Hillcrest Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Skyline is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

While Skyline didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-22), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They managed a 53-49 victory over MacArthur on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Hillcrest came up short against Weatherford on Tuesday and fell 57-50. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 767th, while the Kangaroos are ranked 314th).

This is the second loss in a row for Hillcrest and nudges their season record down to 5-8. As for Skyline, their win bumped their record up to 7-5.

Skyline couldn't quite get it done against Hillcrest in their previous matchup back in December of 2021 as they fell 69-56. Can the Raiders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
