Soccer Recap: North Hills Christian Snags Fourth Win in Last Five Games

North Hills Christian took a nine-goal loss the last time they faced off against University Christian, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Eagles' defense stepped up to hand the Barracudas a 1-0 shutout on Tuesday. Kylie Brooks had the honor of scoring the game-winner for North Hills Christian.

North Hills Christian has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-4-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those five games. As for University Christian, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Looking ahead, North Hills Christian will host Lee Park Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for University Christian, they will challenge Salem Baptist Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. University Christian will be up against Salem Baptist Christian's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.14 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
