Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North had won nine straight games and Aniya Gallion did her part to make it ten on Wednesday. Everything went the Tigers' way against the Crossland Cavaliers as they made off with a 3-0 victory with plenty of help from Gallion, who had 16 aces and three digs. She has been hot for a while, having posted two or more aces the last 11 times she's played.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North took every set by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-8, 25-9.

Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North's win bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Crossland, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
