Basketball Game Preview: Wilkinson County Warriors vs. Montgomery County Eagles

The Wilkinson County Warriors and the Montgomery County Eagles will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wilkinson County will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Wilkinson County will bounce into Tuesday's match after beating Wilcox County, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. Wilkinson County had just enough and edged Wilcox County out 43-41.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Montgomery County). They put the hurt on Dooly County with a sharp 75-52 victory on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Eagles have posted since February 13th.

Montgomery County has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points per game. As for Wilkinson County, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
