Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pasadena Memorial). They managed a 50-44 win over the Sam Rayburn Texans on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Mavericks as it spelled an end to their nine-game losing streak.

Leading Pasadena Memorial to victory were Casey Crawford and Emma Reeves. Crawford went 8 for 13 on her way to 17 points in addition to five boards and four steals, while Reeves dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds. Those 17 points gave Crawford a new career-high.

Pasadena Memorial was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Sam Rayburn lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Leona Anderson, who posted eight points in addition to six boards and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kalaiah Flores, who had 14 points.

Pasadena Memorial's win ended an eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-14. As for Sam Rayburn, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.
