Baseball Recap: JC Bermudez Doral Comes Up Short

JC Bermudez Doral was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 9-5 to the Pembroke Pines Charter Jaguars.

JC Leon made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Jose Herrera, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

JC Bermudez Doral's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Pembroke Pines Charter, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-9-1 record this season.

JC Bermudez Doral wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 4-3 defeat against Florida Christian on the 4th. As for Pembroke Pines Charter, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-4 win against Everglades on the 4th.
