Basketball Recap: Southwest Minnesota Christian Takes a Loss

Southwest Minnesota Christian lost against Hills-Beaver Creek back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Southwest Minnesota Christian Eagles fell to the Hills-Beaver Creek Patriots 80-76. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Southwest Minnesota Christian's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Hills-Beaver Creek, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 13-1.

Southwest Minnesota Christian and Hills-Beaver Creek should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Minnesota Rankings. Southwest Minnesota Christian will take on Adrian/Ellsworth at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday up 195 places (185 vs. 380). Similarly, Hills-Beaver Creek (ranked 58th) will meet Mountain Lake/Comfrey (ranked 374th) at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
