Basketball Recap: Eugene Takes a Loss

Eugene was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They were dealt a 64-34 defeat at the hands of the Russellville Indians. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-43 back in December of 2024.

Eugene's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Russellville, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-9 record this season.

Eugene will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against South Callaway at 6:15 p.m. Eugene is facing South Callaway at the right time seeing as South Callaway is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Russellville, they will head out on the road to square off against Fayette at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
