Soccer Recap: Scranton Comes Up Short

Scranton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 5-1 to the Scranton Prep Cavaliers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Scranton of the 5-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Scranton's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Scranton Prep, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Scranton will take on rival Honesdale at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Scranton Prep is set to challenge their familiar foe Wallenpaupack Area at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
