Volleyball Game Preview: Secaucus Patriots vs. Harrison Blue Tide

Secaucus hasn't had much luck against Harrison recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Patriots will face off against the Blue Tide at 4:00 p.m.

Last Friday, Secaucus came up short against Weehawken and fell 2-0.

Meanwhile, Harrison had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came out on top against the Lancers by a score of 2-0.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 28-26, 25-22.

Secaucus now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Harrison, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season.

Secaucus couldn't quite get it done against Harrison in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Patriots avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
