Softball Game Preview: Timber Creek Falcons vs. Trinity Trojans

The Timber Creek Falcons will square off against the Trinity Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The last three games Timber Creek has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Tuesday, Timber Creek didn't have quite enough to beat Byron Nelson and fell 2-1.

Timber Creek saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Payton Alexander, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Trinity, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Byron Nelson on Friday, sneaking past 7-6.

Trinity's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-10-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Timber Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-10.
