The Coudersport Falcons will face off against the Otto-Eldred Terrors at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Coudersport will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
Coudersport came out on top against Johnsonburg on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive ten-run fifth inning. The Falcons put the hurt on the Rams with a sharp 12-2 win. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by seven runs or more this season.

Mitchell Taylor was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one home run and four RBI.
In other batting news, Lawson Wetzel was incredible, going 2-for-3 with five RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Mason Roessner, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.
Coudersport was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .348 or higher in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Otto-Eldred was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Port Allegany, falling 10-4.
Otto-Eldred saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Manning Splain, who went 1-for-4 with one run and one RBI. Jared Obenrader also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
Coudersport's victory bumped their record up to 10-4-1. As for Otto-Eldred, they now have a losing record of 6-7.
Otto-Eldred's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Coudersport hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .326. It's a different story for Otto-Eldred, though, as they've only averaged .255. Will they be able to contain Coudersport's hitters?
Everything went Coudersport's way against Otto-Eldred in their previous matchup back in April, as Coudersport made off with a 15-0 win. Do the Falcons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Terrors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
