Basketball Recap: Linn Wildcats vs. South Callaway Bulldogs
The Linn Wildcats can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They blew past South Callaway 55-23 at home. The win was familiar territory for Linn who now have five in a row.
Linn got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Vivien Baker out in front who scored ten points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Paige Senevey, who scored nine points along with two steals.
Linn has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. As for South Callaway, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-17.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Linn will face off against the Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Callaway, they will head out on the road to take on the Hornets at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Elizabeth presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Bulldogs in Missouri (the Hornets are ranked 91st, while the Bulldogs are ranked 440th).
