Baseball Recap: Seneca Takes a Loss

Seneca fell victim to Moorestown and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Quakers by a score of 2-0. The Golden Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row dating back to last season.

Alex Kerr was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits.

Seneca's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

When Seneca and Moorestown next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Golden Eagles will try to stop Northern Burlington's three-game winning streak when they meet at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Moorestown will challenge Eastern and their three-game winning streak at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
