Smithton saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cory Pond, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base. Pond is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.

Smithton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Norborne, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.
