Softball Recap: Crown Point's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Crown Point lost to Bolton Central back in April, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Eagles. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by six runs or more this season.

The win (which was Crown Point's fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Bolton Central, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-3.

Coincidentally, Crown Point and Bolton Central will both be playing Lake Placid the next time they take the field. The Eagles will head out to face the Bombers at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Panthers will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
