Soccer Recap: Madison Comes Up Short

Madison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 10-0 to the Lakeview Vikings.

Madison's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Lakeview, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Madison will take on Concordia at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Madison will be up against Concordia's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.78 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Lakeview, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Plattsmouth at 5:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
