Softball Recap: Cedarcrest Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Cedarcrest's offense. They came up short against the Woodinville Falcons on Friday, falling 11-0. Having soared to a lofty 23 runs in the game before, the Red Wolves' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Cedarcrest saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Paityn Craig, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Cedarcrest's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Woodinville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cedarcrest will venture away from home to challenge Bothell at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Woodinville, they will head out to face off against Inglemoor at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
