Baseball Recap: West Rutland's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

West Rutland had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Arlington Memorial Eagles with a sharp 11-4 win. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 14-3 win last Thursday.

West Rutland's victory bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Arlington Memorial, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: West Rutland beat the Eagles by a score of 11-4 on Friday.
