Calumet New Tech extends home losing streak to ten

This season hasn't been kind to the Calumet New Tech Warriors, who are still winless after their 11th matchup. They were the victim of a tough 55-31 defeat at the hands of Boone Grove on Tuesday. Calumet New Tech has struggled against Boone Grove recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Boone Grove can attribute much of their success to Drew Jeffries, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Jeffries hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Elaina Schreiner, who scored 12 points along with nine rebounds and five steals.

Calumet New Tech's defeat was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-11. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 20.0 points per game. As for Boone Grove, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-15.

Calumet New Tech will head out on the road to face off against Lake Station Edison at 11:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Boone Grove, they will be playing at home against Wheeler at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wheeler will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
