Soccer Recap: Midtown Comes Up Short

Despite a strong season so far, Midtown has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They fell 3-1 to the North Atlanta Warriors on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that Midtown have lost by exactly two goals.

Midtown's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for North Atlanta, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Midtown will host Decatur at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Atlanta, they will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Allatoona at 6:00 p.m. Allatoona will roll in looking for their 15th straight win, something North Atlanta surely won't give up without a fight.
