Basketball Recap: Williston Comes Up Short

Williston suffered their biggest defeat since February 17, 2024 on Tuesday. They were beaten by the Mandan Braves 80-52. The loss continues a trend for the Coyotes in their matchups with the Braves: they've now lost eight in a row.

Williston's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Mandan, their victory bumped their record up to 16-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Williston will host St. Mary's Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Mary's Central knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Williston likes a good challenge. As for Mandan, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Dickinson at 4:45 p.m. Mandan is facing Dickinson at the right time seeing as Dickinson is stuck on a 17-game losing streak.
