Football Recap: Lake Mary Prep Comes Up Short

Lake Mary Prep fell victim to Orangewood Christian and their airtight defense on Thursday. They were dealt a 39-0 loss at the hands of the Orangewood Christian Rams.

Orangewood Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Paige McClarnon, who rushed for 58 yards and one touchdown, and also caught one touchdown. Avery McDonald was another key player, rushing for 57 yards and one touchdown.

Lake Mary Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Orangewood Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Coincidentally, Lake Mary Prep and Orangewood Christian will both be playing Faith Christian the next time they take the field. Lake Mary Prep will host Faith Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Orangewood Christian will host them on March 11th.
