Softball Recap: West Hardin Picks Up Third Straight Win on the Road

19 must be West Hardin's lucky number: they beat Sabine Pass with that score not once but twice on Monday. The Oilers didn't even let the Sharks on the board, marking the Oilers' second-straight 19-0 shutout. The win continues a trend for the Oilers in their matchups with the Sharks: they've now won six in a row.

Cheyenne Steele made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up a single earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one double and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Olivia Hashaw, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kymber Dagle, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.
