Centennial and Independence are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2020, but not for long. The Titans will venture away from home to take on the Knights at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Centennial sitting on four straight victories and Independence on three.

Centennial barely beat Heritage the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Titans put the hurt on the Coyotes with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday.

Centennial was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-16, 25-19.

Independence not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 22nd (when they won 3-0). They blew past Lebanon Trail 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-13, 25-21.

Centennial's victory bumped their record up to 22-7. As for Independence, their win bumped their record up to 12-9.

Centennial was able to grind out a solid victory over Independence in their previous meeting back in September, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
