Baseball Game Preview: Lebanon Blue Devils vs. Stewarts Creek Red Hawks

For the second straight game, Lebanon will face off against Stewarts Creek. The Blue Devils are taking a road trip to take on the Red Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lebanon is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

Lebanon will bounce into Wednesday's matchup after beating Stewarts Creek, who they had gone 0-5 against in their five prior meetings. The Blue Devils sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 win over the Red Hawks on Tuesday.

For Stewarts Creek's part, Jeff Moran was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over 4.1 innings pitched. Furthermore, Moran didn't allow a single walk, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Stewarts Creek and nudges their season record down to 16-12. Even worse, they were so close both times: the losses came by an average of only 1.5 runs. As for Lebanon, their victory bumped their record up to 10-8-1.
