Goleman is 4-0 against Miami since December of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Goleman Gators will take on the Miami Stingarees at 2:00 p.m.

Goleman is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to seven goals on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Somerset Academy on Wednesday. They came up short against the Panthers, falling 8-0. The Gators have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Miami). Their defense stepped up to hand Northwestern an 8-0 shutout on Tuesday. It was an even better day for Yaritz Gonzalez as she scored three goals for her team.

Miami moved to 3-7 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak. As for Goleman, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.

Goleman took their victory against Miami in their previous meeting back in November of 2023 by a conclusive 5-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Goleman since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
