Basketball Recap: Bella Byman Key Part of Team Effort in Tigers Win

With a playoff win on the line, Randleman rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 55-36 victory over the Providence Grove Patriots. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Patriots on February 7th, they had to take a 46-37 defeat.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Randleman to victory, but perhaps none more so than Bella Byman, who on her way to 17 points and seven rebounds. Those seven boards gave Byman a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jacquline McDaniel, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 18 rebounds.

Randleman has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season. Providence Grove's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-9.

Looking ahead, Randleman will venture away from home to square off against East Burke at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in East Burke's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 15 matchups. Providence Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
