Basketball Recap: Brighton Skates Past Hunter with Ease

A well-balanced attack led Brighton over Hunter in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Bengals blew the Wolverines out of the water with a 72-29 final score. The Bengals have beaten the Wolverines the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Wolverines has come to flipping the script.

Brighton's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bo Donelson, who posted 15 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Slade Cowan, who earned 12 points and four steals.

The victory got Brighton back to even at 1-1. As for Hunter, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Brighton will challenge Kearns at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hunter, they will face off against Herriman at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
