Westwood Christian extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Tripp Kirkland. The Westwood Christian Warriors blew past Northside Christian Academy 61-40 on Thursday thanks in part to Kirkland, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 16 rebounds. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Asher Baum was another key player, putting up nine points and five steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last four games he's played.

Westwood Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.4 points per game. As for Northside Christian Academy, they dropped their record down to 6-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
