Sterling beats Northside for their fifth straight win

Recap: Sterling Raiders vs. Northside Panthers
The Sterling Raiders had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 40.5 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They blew past Northside, posting a 70-0 win at home. The result was nothing new for Sterling, who have now won five matches by 35 points or more so far this season.
Jacques Brown continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 170 yards and four touchdowns on only ten passes.
Sterling's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Northside, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Sterling will head out on the road to face off against Wisdom at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Wisdom is on a three-game streak of home wins, Sterling a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the field. Northside will take on Ball at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ball knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matches -- so hopefully Northside likes a good challenge.
