Softball Recap: Goliad Continues Road Dominance on Tuesday

Goliad made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Nixon-Smiley, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Goliad blew past Nixon-Smiley 22-3 on Tuesday. Considering the Tigers have won three contests by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Goliad pushed their record up to 4-3 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.6 runs over those games. As for Nixon-Smiley, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
