Baseball Recap: East Takes a Loss

If East was riding high fresh off their 16-4 takedown of Columbus International on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers came up short against the Centennial Stars on Wednesday, falling 12-2. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Stars recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

East's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6-1. As for Centennial, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East will head out to square off against Ponitz Career Tech at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Centennial, they will venture away from home to face off against Mifflin at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
