Recap: Cesar E. Chavez vs. Bellaire
Sadly, the Cesar E. Chavez Lobos are still looking for their first win of the season after six matchups. They were the victim of a rough 9-0 defeat at the hands of Bellaire on Friday. While losing is never fun, Cesar E. Chavez can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 745th, while Bellaire is ranked 363rd).
Cesar E. Chavez's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5-1. As for Bellaire, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-6-2.
Cesar E. Chavez will head out on the road to challenge Westside at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Bellaire, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Lamar at 7:45 p.m. Lamar is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
