Volleyball Game Preview: Buckeye Central Bucks vs. Van Buren Black Knights

The Buckeye Central Bucks will challenge the Van Buren Black Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Buckeye Central is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

Buckeye Central's tournament run continued when they took on Mansfield Christian on Tuesday. The Bucks blew past the Flames 3-0.

Buckeye Central walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-16, 25-12, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Van Buren beat Carey 3-1 on Tuesday.

Van Buren was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-10, 25-27, 25-17.

Buckeye Central better keep an eye on Lily Grine. She was instrumental in Van Buren's win, getting 18 digs and one assist.

Van Buren's victory bumped their record up to 19-5. As for Buckeye Central, their win bumped their record up to an identical 19-5.
