DSST: Montview had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They strolled past the Lincoln Lancers with points to spare, taking the game 56-42.

Despite the defeat, Lincoln saw an underclassman step up: freshman Beikerson Alvarez posted eight points and 11 rebounds. Alvarez is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last eight games he's played. Dechon Traylor was another key player, putting up four points and five assists.

DSST: Montview's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Lincoln, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12.

DSST: Montview has already played their next matchup, a 57-40 loss against DSST: Green Valley Ranch on the 14th. As for Lincoln, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 68-39 defeat against DSST: Cedar on the 14th.
