Volleyball Recap: Olathe Has No Trouble Against Hayden + How To Watch

Olathe not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since September 17, 2024 (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the Hayden Tigers as they made off with a 3-0 victory. This was payback for the Pirates, who suffered a 3-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-14, 25-20.

Isabela Cortes paced Olathe's offense, picking up ten kills. Cortes got some help from Haley Cox and her 20 assists. Finally, Cortes was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high five blocks.

Olathe moved to 4-9 with that win, which also ended their three-match losing streak. As for Hayden, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

Olathe wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Coal Ridge on the 30th. As for Hayden, after both having extra time off, they and Plateau Valley will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
