Basketball Recap: Firebaugh Takes a Loss

The Firebaugh Falcons came up short against the Canyon Cowboys on Saturday, falling 64-42. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Firebaugh's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Canyon, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

Firebaugh will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Verbum Dei Jesuit at 7:00 p.m. on December 3. As for Canyon, they will take on Victor Valley in a tournament on Monday.
