Basketball Recap: Tioga Comes Up Short

If Tioga was feeling good fresh off their 49-21 takedown of Grant last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tioga Indians took a hard 56-39 fall against the Plainview Hornets on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Indians of the 56-32 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2015.

Tioga's defeat dropped their record down to 20-10. As for Plainview, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 22-8.

Tioga has already played their next match, a 42-33 victory against Franklin Parish on the 14th. As for Plainview, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 53-18 win against Pineville on the 11th.
