Soccer Recap: Waterloo Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Waterloo was not quite Memorial's equal in the second half on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Red Devils by a score of 3-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Waterloo of the 9-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Mason Biltz and Garrett Clites scored both of Waterloo's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Waterloo now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Memorial, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
