Volleyball Recap: Lake Fenton Comes Up Short

Lake Fenton lost against Mt. Pleasant back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Blue Devils fell 2-0 to the Oilers. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Jillian Ferrill paced Lake Fenton's offense, picking up 21 kills. Ferrill got some help from Molly Rhind and her 16 assists.

Lake Fenton's defeat dropped their record down to 22-15. As for Mt. Pleasant, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 32-9-1 record this season.

Lake Fenton has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Corunna on the 4th. As for Mt. Pleasant, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Oxford on the 1st.
