Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Markesan). They secured a 46-40 W over the Pardeeville Bulldogs on Friday. The victory was just business as usual for the Hornets, who after eight games remain undefeated this season.

Markesan's win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Pardeeville, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Markesan will square off against rival Cambridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Hornets 13.9, the Bluejays 7.9) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Pardeeville is set to challenge their familiar foe Deerfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
